Hi Marie-Ann
thank you much and i must say i have fallen in love with the quiet color compositions in your landscapes. i also enjoy how you play with space showing landscapes in a two-dimensions at times. the lack of vibrant colors gives it a dull yet very serene scene. the forms you create do an excellent job of suggestion of land and water. wonderful to experience.

I have a hard time understanding just how you acquired such a subtle sense of vision and color... brilliant!! VERY VERY peaceful!! =)

Re: Teeloo

Hi Tony,

Your work is truly interesting, especially the real people scene. It is strong in meaning and it depicts human destructive and lasy instinct. It take a certain quality to be able to slip into this kind of life, a certain sens of risk. Be there done that. But most of the time people look at that and think...ho it's so hard for some people...but in fact flirting with our demons takes abandon, and that's what most people can't do. Of course it is nice to bounce out of it, if not just for health concerns, but still, most bums i knew had a keen sens of life, and the darkness they project back to society is it's own failure !!!
Wow, keep on showing those wonderfuly real people.

Re: Janbollaert

Your work is very well done. It's interesting to feel the tension between the subject and the craftmanship indeed. My only comment would be, that it's too much like illustration or advertising. To claim a true artistic value, it would be interesting to go beyond the surface and be more painterly. Play with the surface and texture maybe or to use part of the canvas in one manner... You have a great sens of color, and i would love to see you do abstractions. I'm certain that the subject is in the way of your inner great talent, because people are stun by the american beauty.

Great work, push it forward !

Re: 3Axap

What is your technique, oil, acrylic, gouache, watercolor ? The texture is very interesting. The colors are semi transparent.
