Piecing and layering photos into personally meaningful form has been wildly exciting- I set the quieter, deeply familiar form of painting aside, drawn to the charismatic realm of the "new" technologies.
Entranced, devoted, I've spent the last year and a half with myriad glossily compelling images, the montages of which compose most of my current web portfolio...jeanettestevensonart.com

Re: Ptcoughlin

Wow! Ornate, wonderfully detailed work- This is fine in an old world way...

Re: Kgoeller

Gorgeous work! Makes my mouth water it's so beautifully designed and executed. (I was a jewelry designer for many years and know metal- you are really good!) And original!

Re: Heidiaiken

Striking, kinetic texture- I'd like to see more of you work!
Your changes in hue are powerful as well. The gleam of your painting adds to the fluid feel of movement.

Re: Coco7

Your muted beige and golden palette with the vivid red and occasional blacks is striking! Lovely textures, too.

Thank you for your kind feedback! You made me feel "right at home" on a new site. (The competitive aspect of it will take some getting used to though!)
Your pieces are whimsical, charming- I enjoy the "children's art feel"- to achieve that ingenuous touch is a gift.

Re: 05031946

Your lone boat and its reflection on the green expanse is so beautiful. Lovely singular painting.

Re: Chelin-Sanjuan

What tender feeling your paintings evoke! I was happy to find your work.
Your singular blues and greens are a lovely vein of color that run through many of your pieces.
It's obvious that you have a great love for your work- it shows in your soft, realized portraiture.

Re: Jkchapman4891

This is a supremely well executed style you've developed- you are obviously a master. This is photo realism with mural sized impact displaying all the sheen, grime and hectic wonder of the big city. I'm so impressed with the composition of these as well-
