It was a placed cursed and inhabited by unspeakable abominations, spiders as big as men said some with ferious appetites. If this was not enough deterent the house was said to be inhabited by a witch. Though it had never been proved some said the witch deliberatley lured ships to the rocks by using a beacon. Ships had gone missing around these parts before and no one dared comtemplate the terrible fate endured by any of the survivors who washed up at this damned place.
