2003-2004, Prismacolor pencil on layered tissue paper coated with resin, panels depict an accumulation of approximately one million hand drawn ½ inch circles accumulating and transforming from black to blue. Total of fifty 14 x 14 inch panels.

Half inch in diameter circles are drawn in a grid format on 18 x 24 inch pieces of tissue paper. These drawings are torn up and dropped onto a surface coated with Varathane. Incrementally the density of the overlapping circles from each torn piece increases such as 1/8,1/4,1/2, etc. of a sheet. This process continues until one full sheet is represented on the surface and continues with the addition of one sheet per session until a density is achieved that darkens the entire panel surface. Incrementally a percentage of blue circles are added transforming the panels from black to blue until the entire panel surface is blue. Numbers at the bottom of each panel indicate the approximate number of circles in that panel.
