I have been pretty busy this summer, working on building my portfolio as much as I can while still maintaining my exhibit at the Decker Gallery in the Courtright Memorial Library. I have been fortunate in getting the chance to display my work July to August.

I just submitted a picture of an Eastern Amber-winged Damselfly last night to a competition for National Geographic....I really liked the way it came out....but we'll see.

I also have my work displayed at myspace.com/stevesphotoz. I've been pretty busy getting that organized.

I'm starting to work on a long-term project combining elements of my photography with a poem cycle I wrote on nature....I might set it to some sort of music and present it using multimedia....I'm still looking for an academic setting that might give me the flexibility and freedom to do what I want.
