Hi Maria

Thank you Maria for your evaluation for my work.

I follow go to see your job{work}. I claimed to be left abstraction, plastic elements by way of combinations which make concrete beings or abstract things you lead to a cosmic vision{view} give such likeness with creation. A line meets a line, a line avoids a line, adventure of lines, a line waits, hopes, germinates, a line for the pleasure of being, everything is affair here of not codified and broken, wandering lines which overlap in the infinity.

Very nice work and Merry Christmas

Michel

TO PAINT IT, TO PROMOTE IT, TO LOSE IT and TO PAY IT.
To paint it, is what a painter must do!
To promote it, well... while the gallerist and curators arrivals to him/her, is what an artist can do too!,
To lose it......ok..., is an options some times, when the situation is deserves,
BUT to pay it????, it is ridiculous situation. This is the overflow, isnt it?
I go to explain you:
The painting in the photo, my painting, apply to a contest: "3 B ABSTRACT", 2003.
We had to send five slides to apply and three of mine to win the second prize, I would sent one of them or the three work, but I knew that if the work dont sell while the exhibition was scheduled, I can not return them to my country, I would have not the money in the budget to bring them of return, not even to one of them. So that I was in agreement and glad to send one painting and to lose it if would be necessary..... Arrived the moment when the exhibition finished: ¡went neccesary!.....
then I tried to donate it to the Argentine embassy of Belgrade, but they did not accept it...then I left it (lose it) in the Yugoslavia customs.
Well, spent fourth years.....and last friday arrived me a letter from AFIP(agency of income publics) and Argentine customs demanding me by this painting.
I sent my painting like a temporary export and I had to change it in definitive export is she would not return to the country, but I didn´t. I know I was wrong, because I did not the change, but I did not swindle to the state, because the paintings do not pays taxes here, even if sold it, thus I thought that I must have to pay the thirty percent of the work,
but this painting without her papers of definitive export became prohibited merchandise, and this class of merchandise must be left to the state in the customs and if it is not, it is necessary to replace it by her value.
Thus I must pay my own painting. Really, I paint it, I promote it, I lose it and IIIIIIII pay it!
The artist we to paid expensive our errors in this country , where "other" errors ...are very cheap. Maria Parmo
