April 16, 2008 8:39 pm If you hold a canvas over a smoky lamp, one can get fantastic tones! This led me as a young artist to explore further how light, shadow and color can behave. There is nothing called a traditional or typical in these materials that an artist can use, nor the dimensions used to express thought, memory, emotion but there are man made barriers to the understanding and communicating which one should overcome. The dialogue between the different cultures, sub consiousness of two people is bridged by Art. |
