May 21, 2008 8:34 am Thanks for your comments on my painting, and sorry it has taken so long to reply. I haven't logged on for ages and had forgotten how to do stuff! Love your cloud pictures - I haven't really got beyond fluffy white on blue for skies and these are amazing! |

In Regards to skyscapes… these have been my main focus for over two years now. I try to keep my “chops” up by going back to landscape or still life from time to time but always seem to find my head in the clouds again. Skyscapes for me have many meanings. The constantly shifting of color and shape can relate to so much in our lives. The way light can never be completely obliterated means much to me. I begin to see people and what their sky portraits would look like, perhaps something to make you think… What kind of sky are you right now? Remember that tomorrow can always a clear sunny day. the choices we make help determine when the storm clouds dissipate or when that fiery sun will eventually set. |
